Fishing in Thailand: Amazing ‘Birthday-Session’ for Heikki Makkonen from Finland. Heikki checked in at Dreamlake on 20th Feb for one night, and soon after arrival he caught a ‘Striped Catfish’ (Pla Sawai) in medium size and he hooked on the predator rod into a huge Pacu, which put up an awesome fight.
The fishing slowed down as usual in the middle of the day, but in the late afternoon and evening action started again. Unfortunately he lost a few fish in decent size, but Heikki managed to catch another ‘Striped Catfish’, a small Tambaqui and finally a beautiful, massive ‘Amazonian Redtail Catfish’ on sausage…cheers!

Our Canadian friends Elyse and Josh Laughland decided to stay with us one night at Dreamlake Resort on the 10th of February, Chiang Mai – Thailand.
Conditions were quite challenging, as the fishing can be slow at our lake around full moon, but Josh is a well experienced angler and they caught finally a beautiful Wallago, two Redtail catfish and two small Tambaqui.
