It was a real pleasure to have Robert Sarkozi and his beautiful family for a 24h session at our lake.
Robert fished one rod with dead bait, targeting our predators, and he was doing really well and managed to catch two good sized Alligator Gar (148+165cm in length), six Amazonian Redtail Catfish and one of our elusive Wallago. Cheers mate!
Fishing for carp species was unfortunately really poor, to be honest. Not a single run whilst fishing with two rods.
We had a period with heavy downpours and fast rising water levels about two weeks ago, and I assume that many of our species simply started spawning right now.
