Certainly the most common fish encountered when fishing in Thailand. A very very popular food fish in Thailand. It has a good taste and can be found in most restaurant’s or street market stall’s. Max size 4 kg. We catch him sometimes up to 2 kg at Dreamlake fishing resort. Tilapia will take almost any bait presented well especially worms, bread, pellets, sweetcorn and very small lures, a sporting fish on ultra-light tackle.
